The E-Bike Petting Zoo Returns May 3

A growing number of people in the Kansas City region are discovering that e-bikes are an efficient, convenient and fun way to get around.

Whether you’re e-bike curious or a long-time enthusiast, come experience the excitement for yourself at our second E-Bike Petting Zoo

The Mid-America Regional Council and WAY TO GO, in collaboration with RideKC Bike, are hosting this free event at the Brookside Farmers’ Market on May 3, from 9 to 11 a.m.

You’ll have the chance to see a variety of e-bike models up close, take test rides and connect with experienced e-bike owners.

Have an e-bike?

E-bike owners are encouraged to bring their bikes and share their knowledge and experiences with others at the E-Bike Petting Zoo. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Offer test rides of your bike (all interested riders are required to sign a waiver and leave behind a form of identification).
  • Answer questions about riding, maintenance and ownership.
  • Share your honest experiences with folks who are interested in making the leap.

To participate, just bring your e-bike to the market, sign a waiver at the table and get ready to connect with fellow riders.

Want to test ride an e-bike?

If you’re curious about what it’s like to ride an e-bike, this is the perfect chance to try it out in a low-pressure environment. Test riders will be able to:

  • Talk to current e-bike owners.
  • Ask questions about cost, range and quality of bike.
  • Take a spin on different e-bike models.

To participate in test rides, stop by the welcome table to sign a waiver and get a wristband. You’ll also need to bring a valid form of ID to try any bikes.

RSVP: This event is free and open to the public. RSVP on the MARC website to receive event reminders.
